Started working on a revision of Dutch Skies 360 Volume 2 DVD . It will be ready by about february/ march 2012.
What will be new:
- completely renewed sIBL sets that ready for the upcoming sIBL 2.4 (new version will be ready in several months)
- a lot panorama’s are being re-build from the scratch
- for all HDR’s making complete new 11k exposure renders (JPG)
- fixed several errors in the siBL sets
- Bottom retouched HDR
- wrote tonemap settings for all sets (kept the tonemappings more natural)
- new VR’s.
The best news is that its a free upgrade for those who bought it. Those who ordered separate images from Volume 1 get a new version of it too. Will contact those who bought Volume 2 or bought separate images automatically so no need to remind me about that.

What’s new?
- added experimental Background plates to 3 sIBL sets
- added 3 rejected Dutch Skies (that did not pass my quality control but maybee you can use them)
- some of the extra 11k JPG exposure renders are in Adobe RGB instead of sRGB.
The Selling price for the DVD will still be 69,99 $ or 49,99 euro (excl VAT & shipping and handling costs)! Shipping costs are 10 $ or 7,50 euro. If you live/work in the Haque (Den Haag) please send me an mail then you will not have to pay the full shipping costs …even better will bring the DVD personally to you.
What’s in the package?
Every sIBL set that is available in the online store contains:
* 8k (8000 x 4000 pixels) spherical JPEG background
* 4k (4000 x 2000 pixels) spherical HDR for reflection
* Lowres lightmap ( 360 x 180 pixels) spherical blurred
* Thumbnail JPG (128 x 128 pixels)
* The sIBL document
* Extra included – all 9 spherical renders (exposures) at JPG at 11K (11.700 X 5850 pixels)
These extra renders are all exposures that were made to generate the HDR. So you can make a bigger HDR at 11k by yourself if you need it. Or you even can exposure blend / enfuse the images. This means that you are very flexible in post production.
