Another example of the usage of my Dutch Skies 360°: this time some amazing work by Thomas Mansencal aka Kel Solaar! Thomas is a very friendly creative guy who does next to the 3D / mattepainting etc work also some cool programming programs for the sIBL platform at HDRLabs. One of the (free) apps is sIBL GUI. That app is a standalone application for For 3ds Max, Maya, XSI…..

Some notes:

Background skies

* the background skies in all images (except Tendo) feature my Dutch Skies 360°.


* for lighting Tendo is lit with the Backyard Ibl Set and 2 Area Lights (the Backyard sIBL set can be found & downloaded here )
* Shinra_Tensei is using only DS360_005 from theDutch Skies 360° Volume 1 DVD.
* Chibaku_Tensei is using only DS360_064c from the Dutch Skies 360° Volume 3 DVD
